After taking him for a long walk, we left Harvey on the boat while we went out, he seemed OK and had obviously been fast asleep when we returned. We had walked as far as bridge 3, a mile away. There is a wooden sculpture there, of a large bollard with rope around. As soon as the kids saw this, they both climbed it, it then became a favourite walk for them.

We went to the Coventry Transport Museum. A fantastic collection of British cars, lorries, motorbikes and pushbikes, from early times right up to the present, including a Jaguar CX75, £70,000 to £90,000 worth, and the Thrust Supersonic Car that holds the world speed record, 763mph set on 15th October 1997.

The museum also told the story of Coventry as a manufacturing centre of the car industry. At one time known as the car capital of England, but now all disappeared. We went on the simulation of Thrust SSC. We felt it was rather disappointing.

In the afternoon we went for another long walk and after dinner we all played an hilarious board game.
