Sunday 1st July 2018
We were very
proud of Eva yesterday. When Tracey ran us into Northwich, Eva brought along a
report book from Middlewich Football Club in which she had a lovely write-up,
and a trophy she had been presented with. So well done to our Eva, keep it up,
and a thank you to Jordan who runs the team.
Sandra
turned up this morning and quickly sorted the problem with the solar panels.
They had been wired up wrong and so have never produced any power since being
fitted. On the controller there is a reading that shows the accumulative power
produced. This has shown 2Ah ever since we moved onto the boat. At the end of
today it now shows 48.
Even though
she has sorted the problem we are still going ahead with the work she suggests,
if only for peace of mind. However, she cannot now do the job this week so we
are waiting on a day she can do it all in. Until then we can move but not too
far away as we will be waiting on a phone call to return.
We went to
the Broken Cross pub for Sunday lunch. Excellent value at £15.95 for three
courses, all really good, tasty, home cooking and huge portions. Neither of us
could eat it so ended up bringing our puddings home in a box.
Back at the
marina I half-heartedly did a few jobs. But it’s just too hot.
